CWM Automation Ltd is a UK company based in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire. Formed in 2006, we are specialists in providing customers with a wide range of filling, heat sealing and lidding machinery, as well as fully automatic end of line automation solutions.
Our equipment is suitable for use in different industry sectors including dairy, convenience foods, bakery, pharmaceutical and cosmetics. All our machines are individually tailored to suit our customers’ specific requirements.

In April 2012, Williams EDI (owned by Mick Williams) merged companies with CWM Automation Ltd, providing one strong company with expertise in both mechanical and electrical engineering.

Manufacturing Reliable Automated Machinery since 2006
Based in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, CWM Automation first began back in 2006, but was known as Cooper-Williams Machinery to begin with.
Phil Joins The CWM Team
We welcomed Technical Director, Phil Markham, to the team in 2009, with a remit to expand and develop the business and its customer base.
Williams EDI Merges with CWM
Williams EDI, owned by Mick Williams, merged companies with CWM Automation in 2012.
Latest Generation of Pot Filling Machinery
November 2013 saw the designing of the latest generation of pot filling machines. All of the machines were to be designed with the latest specification servo drives and controls manufactured by Allen Bradley, providing greater accuracy, reliability and flexibility.
CWM Takes Australia
January 2015 saw CWM Automation sign a contract with Australian company, Jewel Fine Foods, to supply 2 fully automatic production lines.
Partnership with Rockwell Automation
In June 2017, CWM became official OEM Partners with Rockwell Automation.
Hexadex Ltd. Acquisition of CWM
Hexadex Ltd, a successful family-owned business with its headquarters in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, announced that it had acquired CWM in 2018.
