A major producer of salad dressings, based in the north of England has placed an order with CWM Automation to supply an automatic bucket filling system suitable for mayonnaise and other similar dressings and sauces. The filling system is suitable for 2.5 litre, 5 litre and 10 litre capacity buckets and incorporates a load cell to accurately weigh and fill the bucket. This system is very effective and gives very accurate and consistant fills. An empty bucket is placed onto the load cell platform, the bucket is then filled until the load cell signals that target weight is achieved. The nozzle immediately shuts-off, resulting in very accurate filling. The new filling system will be installed in April 2011.
